Activities at Oxford Safaris are endless; Besides Hunting, there are activities in the area you can visit: relaxing day at Aloe Day Spa at Ellisras (Lephalale), visiting Pilanesberg National Park, or experiencing a Brunch in the Bush.
What is a Brunch in the Bush? It is a meal which is served outdoors, while you are on Safari or out Hunting. It is a very popular activity in South Africa. While you enjoy your surroundings, you can feast on moerkoffie (Moerkoffie is Afrikaans coffee made from ground coffee in an aluminium coffee pot over an open fire). The menu for a bush breakfast may vary, but often includes a variety of dishes such as fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, different breads and pastries. Nothing better to combine your Brunch in the Bush with a Game drive.
All Game drives (mornings, afternoon and night drives) must be pre-booked (weather permitting).

Mokolo Dam (previously known as the Hans Strijdom Dam) is a rock-fill type dam located on the Mokolo River, near Lephalale, Limpopo, South Africa. Established in 1980, The Malmanies River and the Bulspruit River, of Mokolo, also enter the dam from left side. The dam supplies water to Lephalale, Grootgeluk coal mine, Matimba power station and Medupi power station.
The Nature Reserve is located on eastern and southern sides of the dam. The shoreline of the dam is heavily infested with reed grass.
Mokolo Dam and the Nature Reserve are roughly 91 kilometers from Oxford Safaris, Steenbokpan Lephalale Limpopo. Mokolo is situated on the northern slopes of the Waterberg Mountains.
It is a relatively small nature reserve with lovely picnic spots, fishing around the dam, and photographic views.
